Since its founding in 1936, Sierra College has focused on quality instruction and meeting the needs of the communities it serves. Sierra College serves more than 18,000 students each year at campuses and centers in Rocklin, Roseville, Grass Valley, and Truckee. Spring 2022 Sierra College Construction Fundamentals Course starts on February 15, 2022.

Tuition-Free Program
Tahoe Truckee Unified School District is committed to providing pathways to possibilities and student success. TTUSD Adult Education offers Adult Career Technical Education (CTE) programs that focus on College & Career Readiness, prioritizing industry-specific skills or certifications, certified apprenticeships, workforce re-entry, or integrate workforce preparation and literacy in order to gain entry level access to high-skill, high-wage, or high-need industry or post-secondary programs.

Placer School for Adults
Tuition-Free Program
Placer School for Adults provides students with introductory knowledge of the construction industry career pathway and related basic construction skills and knowledge. Class curriculum emphasizes entry-level construction skills needed to enter into a construction trade. Class subject areas covered are personal skills needed to succeed, hands-on practical working knowledge of tools and equipment, construction industry math, and an introduction to reading blueprints.
